Your client's week, in their own words

Most of what matters happens between appointments, and most of it is gone by the time you're in the room. MindCheck gives your clients a two-minute way to log it — and gives you read-only access to what they choose to share.

See the week, not just the session

Mood ratings, the words your client picked from a 116-feeling wheel, and their own notes — logged when it happened, not reconstructed from memory an hour into your Tuesday.

Consent is the client's, not yours

Access starts with a code they generate and ends the moment they revoke it. They can see every time you've looked. You cannot invite yourself, and you cannot pass access on.

Deliberately not a clinical record

MindCheck is a between-sessions log, not an EHR, not an assessment, and not a risk detector. Its keyword flag means “worth a human looking at” — you are that human.

How linking works

  1. 1

Your client opens Settings and taps “Create a share code”.

  2. 2

They give you the code — in session, or however you already communicate.

  3. 3

You paste it into your clinician dashboard. That's the link made.

  4. 4

They can revoke it at any point, and see a log of every time you've looked.

Before you rely on this in practice

MindCheck is a self-report logging tool. It is not therapy, assessment, diagnosis, or crisis intervention, and its keyword screen will miss distress phrased in any way it doesn't recognise — treat silence from it as meaning nothing at all. You remain responsible for your own clinical judgement, record-keeping, and escalation process, and for whatever your regulator and insurer require of tools you use with clients. Check your own obligations (HIPAA, GDPR, or local equivalents) before linking a client.
